Latest Poll - 32% Approve of Obama’s Presidential Performance (and falling)
See poll info here . I forgot to mention this was only a poll of voters so the opinion of non-voters was left out. Which brings us to our next political philosophical debate point: do the opinions of non-voters really matter at all? As far as political consequences are concerned, probably not which is why voting is so important. Besides calling your local and state reps it’s really the ONLY way you can make your voice heard substantially in the nation’s political sphere and that’s why polls which include the opinions of non-voters are not reliable and not a reasonable gauge for American opinion because you must assume that if folks don’t vote, well, they probably don’t CARE anyway. Polls and statistics in general can be tricky and they are almost useless in political debate since everyone is going to site whichever poll supports what they already think. Much to say, this poll makes sense because what reason do we have to trust Obama at this point? Any ideas?

during the Revolutionary War, it was only about 30% of the colonists who fought King George’s oppression. But the groundwork was laid there by our founding Fathers, and like Ben Franklin said “it’s a Republic, if you can keep it.”
I was listening to Sean Hannity last night about the plight of the San Joauquim whose farming has come to a standstill because of the “political correctness’ of the endangered species act.
when Gov Schwarznegger came on, i expected him to say something a little more forceful, like “California will declare its sovereignty”.
I’ve never liked political correctness either and you’re correct that you don’t need a majority to fight for what you believe in and what you think is correct, important, and worth fighting for. I HOPE you don’t think the corruption of ACORN, the taxpayer purchasing of a failing car company (GM), and the blatant opposition of freedom of speech is worth fighting for.
